77. Kindness from a stranger

There was a guy who tripped and got hurt. A kind person came and saw he was hurt and helped him get up and helped him feel happier It was a one off meeting. The small blessing in this story is kindness from a stranger. Student, Gordon Primary.

78. Helping a friend

My mum helped someone - a friend - she was moving house and couldn’t care for her daughter. So she stayed at our house. The friend was very grateful - the offer of help was a surprise. Recount from a Gordon Primary student who described themselves as: “I am a chapter book”.

79. Lost?

It was Christmas morning. My cousin and I woke early - the rest of the house was asleep. We heard the birds then rushed into the lounge. One of my cousin’s presents was missing! Gosh! 80. Christmas Eve present

Three days before Christmas I got in trouble from Mum. Mum was so angry she told me to put my Christmas Eve present in the bin. My brother persuaded her to change her mind. I felt grateful - he was very kind. PS: I forgave Mum and she forgave me. Student, Gordon Primary School.
