Beyond Small Talk.
A multi-faceted interactive performance incorporating: feltmaking, story telling and improvised poetry and song. Developed and presented in collaboration with Lightbulb Improv.
Audience members learnt to make a wet-felted flower. Whilst they were making their flower they conversed with the improvisers - telling stories about their experience of small blessings. These stories were turned into poems or songs in a 20 minute improvised performance. The performance ended in a sing along - with the audience helping to construct a four part rondel (adapted from the medieval round Rose Red* that summed up their experiences of the evening
